摘要 提出了一种新的基于迭代合并滤波(RMF,RecursiveMergeFilter)的自适应分块压缩方法,它在图像的逐步编码过程中可以实现对子图像的编码。该方法在编码过程中对离散小波变换(DWT,DiscreteWaveletTransform)进行改进,克服了快速小波变换FWT(FastWaveletTransform)不能对子图像进行编码的缺陷,提高了图像质量和编码速度。同时提出了一种合理的小波系数排序方法—光栅扫描排序,它能够替代FWT方法中的Z字形排序,从而提高了编码效率。 In this paper,we present a new RMF (Recursive Merge Filter)based adaptive block-wise compression method which can do sub -image level encoding for progressive encoding.RMF algorithm improves DWT (Discrete Wavelet Transform)algorithm and overcomes the limitations of FWT (Fast Wavelet Transform)that it is not to do sub-image level encoding without less of image quality and encoding speed.Besides this,a better arrangement of the wavelet coefficients-raster scan order,is used to replace the zigzag order which is used in the FWT based and improves the encoding efficiency.
