摘要
针对近几年来高职高专学生英语入学水平急剧下降的现象,高职高专院校的英语教师普遍认为对这些学生仍使用上海外语教育出版社出版的《大学英语精读》教材已与学生实际英语水平不相符。与此同时,高教部组织编写了一本高职高专教材《英语》。作者对此新教材进行了试教,试教结果用全国大学英语水平CET3与高等学校英语应用能力考试A级(PRETCOA)进行检验。结果表明,此新教材不但适合高职院校的高职生英语学习,而且还提高了学生的英语运用能力。
As far as the rapidly decreasing English level of Senior Professional College students in re-cent years is concerned,most of Senior Professional Colleges' English teachers consider that it has been unmatchable for their students to use the″College English Intensive Reading″as their textbook,which was published by Shanghai Foreign Languages Publication House.Meanwhile,the Ministry of Higher Education organized to edit a new English textbook for Senior Professional College Students.The authors pilot this new textbook and uses CET3and PRETCO A to inspect the piloted result.Finally,we find the new pub-lished textbook can not only match the level of Senior Professional College students' English but also im-prove the students' ability to use the language.
