炼油厂规模和炼油装置大型化具有明显的经济效益,是世界炼油发展的一个重要趋势。但要实现炼油厂规模和炼油装置大型化必须首先实现石化设备的大型化,否则将是“无米之炊”。石化设备大型化给我国压力容器行业提出了许多新课题,促进了设备用材、制造技术、设计方法以及标准规范的发展与完善。
