摘要
通过对北京大学文库15年建设历程的回顾与总结,探讨高校文库建设之路,提出把文库办成收藏本校学子论著和各种学术珍品的宝库,展示本校学术水平的窗口,对本校学生进行校史教育和传统教育的场所,学术研究和交流的园地。
Through the review and summary of 15 years' development of the Special Collection in Peking University, this article explores the ways to develop the Special C ollection of a University (SCOU). It suggests that the mam goal of SCOU is to collect and compile books, articles and others academic materials written or made by the university scholars. The SCOU should be a window to promote the achievements of the university scholarship, as well as a place for the students Jo learn the university history. At the same time, the SCOU should provide supports to academic research and exchange.
