摘要
台湾剧作家姚一苇的剧作有鲜明的民族特色。他塑造了众多不同阶层的具有真正中国人品性的人物形象 ,他对新型的民族戏剧形式作了艰苦的探索 ,成功地将舞蹈、歌唱与朗诵等形式融会在戏剧之中 ,并用写意的手法表现戏剧的内容。他的剧作虽然也有瑕疵 ,但已在中华民族的戏剧史上确立了不可动摇的地位。
The plays of Yao Yiwei in Taiwan bear distinct Chinese characteristics, His dramatis personae are drawn from different social strata in China and stand in testimony to a Chinese national character. He has made great efforts to explore new forms of a Chinese national drama. He has succeeded in introducing elements of dance, song and recitation into drama. Yao Yiwei has earned himself an important position in the history of Chinese drama.
