《高级英语》第二册第十一课注释9中将"eastwind"解释为"万物苏复的春风",但无论是从英国地理环境,英国文学作品例证,还是该文作者本意来看,"东风"应被解释为"凛冽的冬风"。
Note 9 of The Future of English explains east wind as the spring wind that revitalizes nature. The explanation is an error because British geographical features are different from those of China. East wind stands for cold and winter in this article as well as in other English literature descriptions.
