As a key technology for the Radar power supply system,the power factor correction technology is applied to the switching power , supply to improve the performance of the power, supply and make the Radar power supply system work well. Now it is a hotspot in the research of power supply. Main characteristics and development of PFC are described. Combined with experience,the average current type of PFC is analyzed. The design method and experimental results of a pre-stage PFC circuit of 1 100 W switching power supply are given.
