摘要
目前大学英语教学中普遍存在着学生对英语社会文化能力低下的问题,它直接影响了英语教学的效果,削弱了学生英语应用能力,必须予以解决。教师在教学过程中要处理好语言教学和社会文化的关系。要遵循循序渐进的原则,由易到难。在教学方法上首先要紧密依托教材,进行多种训练;其次要因地制宜,因材施教,灵活地采用多种教学方法,从而实现两者有机的融合。
In today's college English teaching, there exists a common problem that students know little about the culture and the social background in English-speaking countries,which results in a poor English teaching result and a poor ability to put what they learn into practice.So,it is necessary to solve this problem. To solve this problem, a teacher should deal well with the relationship between language teaching and the cultural and social backgrounds,observe a from-easy-to-difficult principle,closely base all the exercises on the textbooks,and should adopt a flexible combination of various teaching methods in practice.
