摘要
在IW1696的芯片基础上3W的LED驱动电源是一种新的低成本的数字控制方案,能最大化反激变换器AC/DC的电源效率。这种智能数字方法的实现在一个控制器中高性能、低成本和高可靠性的综合利益。它引入了独特的多模式的PWM和PFM运作模式进行自适应基于负荷变化的供电电源。多模式的PWM/PFM控制大大提高了轻负载的效率和总平均效率,并且不会危害到其他系统性能。
A 3W LED driving power supply that is built with the iW1696 is provided,in this paper.The LED driving power supply is a new low-cost digital control solution that maximizes the AC/DC flyback power supply efficiency.This intelligent digital approach achieves the combined benefits of high performance,low cost and high reliability in a single controller.An unique multiple PWM and PFM operational modes adaptively based on the power supply load changes is introduced.The multi-mode PWM/PFM control significantly improves the light-load efficiency and thus the overall average efficiency,and it does not bring compromise to other system performance.
