摘要
电影预告片就是电影的广告,是电影营销的一部分。它有自己的剪辑流程,和一部电影的后期制作是一样的。而且,预告片更需要好的创意去包装。修辞研究一直关注的是用于劝说的说理语篇。作为劝说的艺术,修辞给广告提供了达到其目的的手段。作为劝诱消费者观看电影的预告片,由于有劝说的特性,因此可以通过修辞的方式来探究。文章以古典修辞手段为基础来研究分析美国电影预告片是如何利用修辞效果来达到劝说目的的。
A movie trailer is an advertisement or a commercial for a feature film that will be exhibited in the future at a cinema. Trailers tell the story of a film in a highly condensed fashion that must have maximum appeal. In the decades since film marketing has become a large industry,trailers have become highly polished pieces of advertising,able to present even poor movies in an attractive light. Therefore the craft of persuasion is needed. Aristotle's Rhetoric is an ancient Greek treatise on the art of persuasion,dating from the 4th century BC. This article analyze several movie trailers from aspect of Aristotle's Rhetoric,which are generally known as ethos,pathos and logos,intended to explain how those trailers successfully accomplished their means of persuasion.
