摘要
一篇好的英语报刊财经报道,其数字的运用不是一种简单意义上的罗列或堆积,而是多种处理方法并举的灵活运用,如比较法、扩大法、缩小法、比喻法、解释法、悬念法等。在英语报刊财经报道中,如果能够恰当地灵活使用各种数字处理方法,那么就可以更为鲜明地说明所报道的新闻事实,并增强报道的可读性、准确性、客观性和趣味性。
Numerals are absolutely necessary in financial coverage.By applying numerals flexibly in the financial coverage,news facts can be explained more distinctively and their readability,accuracy,reality and entertainment can be strengthened as well.With the help of some interrelated examples in financial coverage,this paper mainly explores the ways of handling numerals in financial coverage in English news publication.
