摘要
印度是福特基金会长期重点关注的发展中国家,印度的新德里办事处是福特基金会开展跨国活动设立的第一站。在印度,福特基金会围绕其宗旨开展了各种跨国资助活动,这些活动与它在其他发展中国家开展的活动有着很多相似的特点。它在印度50多年的资助活动对印度的影响很大,促进了印度经济、社会、政治、法律制度和文化的发展,但也带来了许多问题和挑战。如何应对这些问题和挑战,成为发展中国家所必须面临的重大课题。
India is the developing countries Ford Foundation long-term focus on, New Delhi office in India, is the first station of the Ford Foundation set up cross-border activities. In India, the Ford Foundation around its purpose to carry out a variety of cross-border financing activities, these activities have many similar characters as it is in other developing countries. It has influence in funding for India in 50 years, promotes the development of India economy, society, politics, law and culture, also brings many problems and challenges. How to deal with these problems and challenges, become a major issue that must be faced in developing countries.
