文章着重介绍了 CCITT XVIII研究组颁布的 G.721建议,并概述了低比特率话音编码技术的基本原理、性能及在通信中的应用现状和发展趋势.
Recommendation G.721.newly revised by CCITT Research group XVIII is introduced in this paper.Relevant topics such as the general principle, performance aspect,possible applications and the developing trend for low bit rate speech codins are surveyed as well.
