摘要
美国英语作为一种特殊的语体经过历史的发展已形成自身明显的特征,同时在国际交流中它正起着越来越重要的作用,本文主要从语音、词汇、习惯用法及语法结构四个方面初步探讨了美国英语的特征。
After years of historical development, American English, as a special regional variety, has formed its own characteristics and its imponance in international communications is on the rise. Main features of American English in pronunciation, vocabulary, usage and grammatical structure are studied.
