摘要
我国古代文献编纂工作源远流长，久盛不衰，究其社会历史文化渊源，作者认为其源有三：一是道德本位的价值取向，创造了重人文、重历史、重学术的风气，二是忠君顺上的价值取向影响下建立的“君举必书”制度，为文献编纂提供了丰富的原始材料；三是祖先崇拜对中国社会产生了广泛而久远的影响，成为人们感情的寄托和皈依。这些文化心态为档案文献编纂提供了生长机制和发展契机。
Abstract : The ancient document compiling work of our country is of long standing and well established, having been flourished ever since. The author thinks there are three reasons. First, the value orientation of moral standard created an atmosphere of attaching great importance to humanities, history and academy. Second, the system of ' recording everything done by the Emperor' influenced by the value orietation of loyal to sovereign provided rich original materials. Third, the widespread and farreaching influence of ancestry worship on Chinese society became an entrustment and a home for people's feeling. The cultural mind state provided growing mechanism and developing moment for the archival document compiling, and promoted its prosperity.
