摘要 This paper discusses a scheme of digital Reactor Protection System (RPS) . Advanced parallel processing channels,consisting ofa microprocessor based unit and a General Array Logic (GAL) based unit have been configuredin each ofthe redundanttrainsto eliminatetherisk ofcom mon modefailure ofdigital RPSsthrough the way ofdiversified equipment. Also several digitaltechniques are also applied to improve the system design.Forexample,the Voltage/Frequency (V/F) converteris applied to achieve the digitization ofthe measurement channel.GALcomponents greatly simplify the hardware circuit design. Two types of com munication buses aredesigned toimprove thereliability ofdatatransmission.By allthese means,thereliability of RPScan be expected to achieve a greatimprovement.
