摘要
本文从“国故”的释名、学者对“整理国故”的不同态度和胡适整理国故的目的和方法及其实践效果等方面,全面、系统地论述了“整理国故”之争的前因后果,指出胡适对中国古籍用科学方法作出的全面整理,目的在“化玄妙为平常”,用以“打鬼”。本文并指出整理国故的正、负面效应及其现实意义,澄清了这次争论的种种迷雾。
This article gives a thorough and systematic account on the causes and consequences of the argument of 'arrange National Past' of Hu Shi from different aspects such as the explanation of the word 'National Past', the different attitudes of scholars to it and the purpose and method of 'arrange National Past' as well as its practice and effects. It points out that Hu Shi arrange the classic works of China in scientific way with the purpose of 'turning mystery into ordinary things' and 'Beating the ghost'. This article also points out the advantages and disadvantages of 'arrange National Past' and its significance nowadays, clarifying all sorts of dense fog of this argument.
