摘要
高职英语教育课程目标的设定应该面向职业性,要把增强学生的职业适应能力和应变能力作为课程目标的基本要素,强调培养关键能力和职业素质,使学生掌握基本的英语语言基础能力,立于基本,立于实用,立于实践。针对高职绝大多数学生基础差,兴趣淡,及语言学习的重理论性的现状,我们的培养思想不妨进行适当的转换,改革教育模式与课堂活动形式,以提高教学质量,使高职高专英语课程教学走上了以实用内容学习为指导,以实际应用能力培养为中心的教学之路。
The definition of English teaching in the senior vocational college should include the cultivation of the ability of career building. It should pay much attention to the improvement of the students’ career adaptation ability and emphasize on the cultivation of students’ key skill and vocational quality. Then, the students are capable of using English in the actual situation. English teaching should rely on the basic, applicable and practical principles. So, due to the lack of basic knowledge and interest among most students and the emphasis on the study of theoretical knowledge, we must alter our ideology of cultivation and change our traditional teaching mode and methods to improve the quality of teaching.The English teaching should follow the way of providing more practical knowledge and cultivating the students’ practical ability.
