摘要
福建省高校分布存在沿海地区集中、内陆地区稀少;发达地区多、欠发达地区少的不均衡特征。要实现海峡西岸经济社会和谐、全面、协调发展,必须真正落实科学发展观,发挥高校促进区域经济社会发展的"动力源"作用。通过采取全面统筹,合理布局,科学规划,加大投入,改善办学条件,培育地方高校特色等措施,最终有效引领和推动福建省区域经济的持续稳定发展。
The characteristics of the disproportion of the regional distribution of HEIs in Fujian province are as follows: more universities concentrate in coastal regions than those in inland regions; developed areas have more universities than underdeveloped areas. In order to make the development of economy and society in the west coast of Taiwan Strait be harmonious and all-round, we should carry out the scientific outlook on development earnestly and HEIs should play a key role in promoting regional economic and social development. Furthermore, the government should take such measures as overall plan, rational distribution, scientific programme, increasing investment, bettering facilities of HEIs and developing the features of local colleges and universities, which will lead and promote the sustainable and stable development of regional economy in Fujian province.
