摘要
道德是一种工具性的存在，它在人与人类社会发展中有着很重要的意义。但道德工具性亦有其自身的局限性，如果对道德工具性意义理解不当，就会造成道德工具的滥用和误用现象。本文通过对道德工具性意义理解上两个误区的分析。
The return of metrics is a major phenomenon in the development of contemporary American poetry and the New Formalism the most significant school of poetry which came into being in the late 1980s. It has encountered since its birth violent criticisms and attacks from the mainstream poets and theorists. In this paper the author attempts to defend the New Formalists on the basis of the nature of the poetic art and by repudiating the status quo of contemporary American free verse.
