摘要
文章针对西方现代主义文学的既成说法进行质疑与修正;通过对后现代主义文学的比较印证,对现代主义文化运动、文学现象的梳理与论述.以及具体描述了现代主义文学追求空间形式的特征表现.阐明了西方现代主义文学的价值取向:消解与营构的两面性表述。从而阐明西方现代主义文学在解构价值形态的过程中.努力寻找意义的重建、价值的重建.
First the article puts a query and suggests an amendment to the current dominant argumentation concerning the Western modernist literature, and then makes comparison with and confirmation to the post - modernism and gives a systematic exposition of the cultural movement of modernism and its literary phenomena.
Furthermore,it gives a detailed representation of the distinctive charateristics displayed by modernist writing which is bent on pursuit of spatial form and approach. Taken as a whole, this article is intended to expound the walue tendency of the western modernist literature, viz. ,its dual character of disintegration and reconstruction in the process of representation, as well as its endeavour to reestablish its significance and value criteria while the conception of its value is undergoing integration.
