摘要 众所周知,大学阶段的英语学习十分重要,而学习动机与大学阶段的英语学习能否顺利有效开展密切相关,英语成绩的高低与学习动机的培养和激发关系密切。因此,高校英语教师必须深入了解、细心分析在校大学生的英语学习动机并给予最大限度地激发和培养,在教学过程中必须遵循激发和保持学生学习动机的一般原则,采取切实有效可行的措施,作好引导和维持强化工作,保证学生有充足的学习兴趣,进而更有效的学习,引导他们朝着有利于进一步学习、提高的方向发展,以提高学生英语学习成绩,增强大学生的英语实际应用能力。 As everyone knows,the university stage of English learning is very important,and learning motivation and English learning at university stage are closely related,English achievement and learning motivation are linked closely.Therefore,College English teachers must understand,it and carefuly analyze College Students' English learning motivation and give the maximum excitation and cultivation,Teaching process must be followed to arouse and keep the learning motives of students in general principle and the Teachers,take effective and feasible measures to guide and to maintain it.Also the teachers ensure that students have enough interest in learning,and guide them towards further learning and improve the direction of development,so as to improve the students' English learning achievements,improving students' English practical ability.
