摘要
知行合一,是中国哲学家王阳明的重要命题.贺麟接过这一命题,用他长期寝馈于西方哲学所得的深厚学养,并吸收现代心理学的观点,对这一古老的哲学命题进行了颇具新意的考察.他对这一问题的研究,贯穿着一条明显的主线:在知行合一的前提下更注重知,注重心的深层含蕴,以此寻求行为的知识根据.进而以知识为现象,找出知识背后的理念,最后由理念推出其逻辑法则.这样,中国传统哲学命题得到了多层次的解释发挥,增加了理论深度和现代内容.
He Lin's theory of a natural integration of knowledge with practice is based onWang Yangming's proposition that knowledge must be integrated with practice, Spin-oza's view that body is parallel to mind, and some other new findings in psychology.According to him, knowing and practising are two aspects of the same psychophysio-logical activity. He Lin further stresses the integration of knowledge with practice inpursuing moral values, and he regards this integration as an ideal state. In assimila-ting the Kantian view that human beings impose laws upon nature and the Cheng-Zhutheory that knowledge precedes practice, He Lin propounds the precedence of knowle-dge over practice. By tracing practice back to knowledge, and from knowledge tologic, we can have a better understanding of the issues of knowledge and practice,which will eventually lead to idealism.
