The implementation of the 'five-day work'system has enabled people to have more leisure time. How do people in Shanghai make use of two day - holidays? How many people in Shanghai are going out to spend their holidays? What is the trend of their holiday-making destinations? Based on these questions, the author has made a social investigation and has gained some enlightenments:1.The trade disparity is distinct. Some trades,because of low economic benefits and their special features, result in low proportion of travellers and expected travellers.2.The attitude of the citizens toward weekend holiday-making is sound and sensible.3.Grasp opportunities and positively involve in guiding. 4. The development of tourism products should be mainly natural landscapes, aiming at high taste but low prices. 5.Tourism environmental quality should be greatly enhanced.
