摘要
南朝鲜爆发了李承晚倒台以来最大规模的群众性反独裁、争民主、要统一的斗争。这一斗争还同反美相结合。南朝鲜当局被迫作出让步。南朝鲜政治形势正处于转折关头,存在着继续前进而不至倒退的前景。但民主化将是漫长过程。美国应进一步调整其对朝鲜半岛政策。朝鲜北方的正确做法,国际社会的压力,有助于促使南朝鲜当局顺应历史潮流。
The mass struggle against autocracy and for democracy and unification presentlygoing on in South Korea is the largest in scale ever since the downfall of Syng-man Rhee.This struggle has also been combined with their fight against theUnited States.The Political situation in South Korea is now at a turningpoint.The South Korean authorities have been forced to make some concessions.However,the democratization will be a long Process.The United States shouldfurther readjust its policy towards the Korean Peninsular.The correct stance onthe part of the North of Korea and the pressure from the international communitywill help in making the South Korean authorities adapt themselves to thetrends of the history.
