摘要
本文重点讨论道德的构成要素和基本形态以及与此有关的道德重建问题。作者认为,道德是一种综合性的社会意识,其结构包括情感、理性、信息等三大人文化了的要素及其相互关系,随着这三个要素主次关系的更替调整,因而产生了三种类型的道德形态,即情感型道德、理性型道德以及信念型道德。作者通过分析得出结论,在中国历史上占主导地位的是情感型道德,而今天困扰我们的道德难题正是情感型道德无可挽回的失落及由此产生的道德重建问题。而我们提出道德重建,其实质就是以道德理性来弥补传统道德信念和道德情感的失落所留下的空缺。
The three elements of moral are: sentiment, reason, convic-tion. When one of the three elements gains dominance in a moral pattern,the other two become subsidiary. In this way,we have the following three moral patterns: moral based on sentiment, moral based on reason, and moral based on conviction. In Chinese histo-ry, it was 'moral based on sentiment' that domineered .Now, our problem is that sentimental moral has irretrievably lost, leaving behind a moral. To fill this, the author holds, we must establish rational moral.
