摘要
针对目前我国地质学界在地质科学论文标题英译中所存在的问题，本文通过国内地质文献科技论文与美国、英国等英语国家一些权威性刊物论文的系统对比，在论文标题的英文语法结构、句型、用词等语言风格上对地质科学论文标题的英译问题进行了探讨。
As to the translation of titles of geoscience papers in the geological field,the structures,patterns,choosing of words and writing style of translation are discussed by comparison of geoscience papers written by Chinese with those authoritative magazines published in the English spoken countries.
