摘要
大学英语是高等学校素质教育的重要组成部分之一。大学英语教师除了应具有扎实的专业知识、理论 ,通晓各种教育理论 ,熟悉各种教学方法外 ,还应是知识面广、博学多艺的学者型人才。在英语课堂教学中 ,必须坚持用素质教育思想为指导 ,重视对学生思想品德素质、文化素质、心理素质的培养。只有这样 。
This paper aims at quality education such as moral character, cultural quality and psychological factor. We should pay attention to the cultural behavior of the students. We should take full advantage of teaching materials and approaches to guide students to adjust their learning goals. The purpose of university education is not to make men into carpenters but carpenters into men. Quality education must be based on humanity rather than technicality.
