摘要
运用合成空间理论通过分析《玻璃动物园》一剧中威廉斯对叙事意象的选择、合成与建构,体现其在戏剧创作中的诗化倾向及诗意追求,揭示该剧在凸现主题、塑造人物形象、再现现实生活等方面所展示的诗学艺术魅力。
The use of narrative images is one of the representative forms in the process of poeticizing dramas.In creating dramas,through selecting and composing images with certain feelings and connotations,the poetic function can be achieved,which will construct a poeticized art.This essay tries to use the blended space theory developed by Fauconnier and Turner to analyze the narrative images in The Glass Menagerie to present Tennessee William's pursuit of poetic qualities and the poetical charm of the play in highlighting theme,shaping characters and recurring the essence of real life.
