1983年12月高年级英语教学座谈会在北京外国语学院举行。会议对高年级教学的主要任务、课程设置、教材、大纲、师资以及防止精神污染等问题进行了讨论。
This paper aims to make a survey of the course offerings in the third and fourth years in theEnglish curriculums in China's universities and foreign language institutes. The survey consists of 1)an inventory of the course offerings; 2) a comparison of the courses; and 3) some general findings.
