摘要
Ｓｙｎａｅｓｔｈｅｓｉａ虽然很少为人注意，但却是一种可以通过不同感觉的沟通或移植获得特殊表达效果的修辞方式，可汉译为移觉。本文比较全面地探讨它的基本概念、表现形式、修辞功能、心理基础。
Synaesthesia, though somewhat unnoticed by people, is a figure of speech in which different sensations are mixed up, leading to the achievement of a special rhetorical effect. This paper deals with its conception, formation, rhetorical function, psychological basis as well as similarity to and difference from transferred epithet and metaphor.
