摘要
由于加拿大与美国的特殊关系 ,使得它在处理战后一些重大的国际事务时不得不与美国保持一致 ,但惟独在古巴问题上与美国相悖。美国一贯视拉美为后院 ,视古巴为共产主义在拉美的桥头堡。加拿大公开反对美国对古巴的封锁政策。
Due to the special relations between Canada and the U.S., Canada has to keep consistency with the U.S. when she deals with some important international issues that have happened since the World War Two. But she has been opposed only to the U.S. policies toward Cuba. The U.S. has been regarding Cuba as a fortress against Communism,and has been regarding the Latin America as his back yard. Canada has been openly opposing the blockade policies of the U.S. toward Cuba. Cuba problem shows the tight knot of foreign relations between these two countries.
