摘要 本文概括地述评了加拿大心理学家赫伯有关研究生培养的教育思想,并就每一个观点,针对中国现阶段研究生培养中存在的问题,提出了自己的看法。赫伯有关研究生教育的思想可以概括为(1)研究能力是无法培养的;(2)考试和分数不能做为衡量研究能力的唯一尺度;(3)一开始选择研究课题时,并不需要创造力;(4)学生应该尽早进行研究工作;(5)是否接受一个学生攻读博士学位的决定应该尽早做出; This article generally reviewed the psychologist Hebb's educational thoughts about graduate training, and about each view the author expressed his own opinions pointing at the existing problems of graduate training in China. Hebb summed up with the following propositions: 1. People can't be trained to do research. 2. Research capacity can't be evaluated only by examinations. 3. The originality should not be required from the first in choice of problem. 4. Students should begin research early in their graduate career. 5. The decision for accepting or failing a student for the degree should be made as early as possible. 6. Writing is the central concern of research.
