在海外探险和扩张的过程中,葡萄牙帝国最先了解了大西洋群岛、非洲沿岸和美洲巴西的地理知识和洋流规律,建立了大西洋贸易航线;同时其奴隶贸易、武装贸易和垄断贸易的尝试深刻影响早期近代大西洋贸易体系的发展。
In the course of exploitation and expanding,the Portuguese Empire understood the geographical knowlages and currents of Atlantic Ilands,Africa and Brazil,created the Atlantic trade routes. In the same time,the attempt on slave trade,forced trade and monopolistic trade influenced early modern Atlantic trade deeply.
