摘要
双语教学是指在教学过程中使用两种语言作为课堂的主要语言进行专业学科的教学。文章着重探索西藏高校数学专业英汉双语教学的可行性,通过对西藏大学数学专业学生进行问卷调查了解学生对双语教学的认可度,分析了影响双语教学的因素。结果显示学生的英语水平、英语的兴趣、教师讲授的方法、语言环境、评价机制、校方对这一新事物的支持程度都影响到双语教学开展的成败。
Bilingual education refers to the use of two languages in the process of teaching professional disciplines.This article focuses on the feasibility of teaching mathematics in English and Chinese at Tibet's colleges and universities.A questionnaire survey has been done to explore the acceptance of the mathematics-majored students of Tibet University to the bilingual teaching,and the factors affecting the bilingual teaching are analyzed.The results reveal that many factors work together to decide success or failure of the bilingual teaching,they are teachers' teaching methods,language environment,evaluation system,and the university's support.
