With the development of the story of 'The Romance of West Chamber',Hongniang,a maid in this story from a footy supporting role evolves as a needful pivotal figure has become a pronoun of matchmaker of marriage in Chinese culture,such a result of evolution is closely related to the historic background of the story,the development of the style itself,and the author's values and positions.
