摘要
大学精神是一所大学的立校之本,是在长期办学实践中对其大学理念进行内化、升华,不断进行理论抽象与价值凝练的结果。大学精神既反映对理想境界的追求,又体现在广大师生的现实表现中,是理想与现实、当今与未来的统一,是应然性与实然性的统一,人文精神、科学精神和创新精神是大学精神必备的元素。大学应以弘扬人文精神为己任,始终坚持以人为本;大学必须坚定科学理性这一伟大的精神气质,弘扬探索精神、实证精神、原理精神、独立精神、创新精神和牺牲精神;大学还必须具有以学术创新为核心的创新能力,从而形成自己独特的文化。
The University Spirit is the foundation of a university. It is the outcome of theory abstract and value condensation by constantly inner syncretizing and sublimating its university concept in the long term schooling practice. The University Spirit reflects not only in the pursuit of ideal realm but also in the students’ actual behaviors. It is the unity of ideal and reality, today and future as well as the certainty and reality. The spirits of humanities, science and creativity are the necessary elements of the university spirit. Therefore, a university should take the responsibility of carrying forward the spirit of humanities and sticking to the principle of human-centered. A university must strengthen the great quality of scientific reason; carry forward the spirits of explorations, principles, independence, creativity and scarification. Furthermore, a university must possess the creative ability centered on academic creativity so that it will form its own unique culture.
