摘要
人物语言翻译是文学翻译的一部分,但有其自身的特点,因为它本质上是口语,与书面语有着明显的差别。为译好人物语言,译文应体现人物语言的口语特点,做到话如其人,语应其境,通顺自然。
As a part of literary translation, the translation of the speeches of literary characters has char-acteristics of its own. This is because the speeches of the characters belong basically to spoken language,consequently quite different from written language. In order to translate such speeches well, the translatedversion should reveal the idiomatic characteristics of the speeches of the characters. The translated versionshould suit the personality of the particular character as well as the particular environment. Also thetranslated version should be smooth and natural.
