摘要
讣告是一种应用文体,承担了将死亡这一社会禁忌现象公诸于众的任务。本文通过对中美两国讣告的文体对比分析,揭示了造成两国讣告差异的根源——即生死观的差异。中国文化及美国文化对于死亡的态度分别源于中国传统儒家思想和美国基督教思想的影响。中国注重集体,美国突出个人。
The obituary is an application style,commitment to the phenomenon of death made public that the task of social taboos.Based on the Sino-US Comparison of obituary style,reveals the root cause differences in the two obituaries-the difference between life and death.Chinese culture and American culture s attitude towards death,respectively,originated from the traditional Confucian ideas and the impact of American Christian thought.China attaches importance to the collective,the United States of individualism.
