摘要
"巂"是《史记.西南夷列传》所列西南夷九个人群部落之一,但也是其中面貌最模糊不清的一支人群。本文在前人研究基础上对"巂"之族群内涵进行了新的探讨。认为从汉代语境看,"巂"字乃蜀人特有的标记与符号,代表蜀人的祖先传说与族群记忆,而"巂"之分布与史籍所载南迁蜀人的分布区域相吻合,故"巂"之内涵是指南迁的蜀人及后裔。汉朝廷对蜀人余绪仍存在于西南夷之地一事颇为敏感和隐讳,可能是造成汉代史籍对"巂"之面貌普遍缺乏记载的原因。
The Xi is one of the nine Southwest Yis peoples or tribes in the Account about the Southwest Yis of the Shi Ji by Sima Qian. We know little about the tribe.
