摘要
采用两维表结构的关系型数据库,已经无法适应当前需要保存大量的多媒体非结构化复杂数据,以及各类数据之间关系的需求。随着后关系型数据库(Post-Relational Database,PRDBMS)的兴起,逐步成为取代传统关系数据库的途径之一。Caché数据库的多维数据引擎中引入了稀疏数组,而且事先不需要声明定义数据库结构,数据库的大小可以按需要自动增长,降低I/O使应用程序运行得更快,真正解决HIS中数据读取速度的瓶颈问题,真正达到实时医疗数据存取。
With the development of information technique,relational database with two-dimension structure cannot meet the needs of current storing of numerous multimedia non-structure data and the needs of keeping relationship among different kinds of data.It is lucky that a post-relational database management system as watershed of database is coming into being and becomes more and more popular,and it is one of the ways to replace traditional relational database.Post- relational database can integrate object database visit,high-powered SQL visit and powerful multi-dimension data visit. These three ways can visit same data at the same time.As long as data is described in integrated data dictionary,it can be visited with these three ways.Multi-dimension engine of Cachédatabase introduces sparse array,and it is not neces- sary to define database structure.The size of database can enlarge according to necessity.Only node for storing actual data occupies some space.Disk writing and reading can fulfill data visiting and updating,which decreases I/O and makes application program run more quickly.It solves the problem of reading speed of data in HIS,and realizes medical data access real-time storing.To sum up,Cachéhas a bright future in medical field.
