摘要
约翰.杜威是美国实用主义伦理学的代表人物。实用主义伦理学的一个重要特征就是试图用科学方法来改造传统的伦理学,杜威是这种观点的先锋。他看到了科学发展对于道德生活产生的巨大影响,指出要用反思的方法、试验的方法和民主的方法来改造传统的伦理学,其目的在于使伦理学成为一门灵活、有生气的科学,而不再是一门僵化、呆板的学问。
John Dewey was a representative of American pragmatic ethics.One of the characteristics of his moral theory of pragmatism is to reform traditional ethics by scientific methods,and he was the pioneer.He was aware of the enormous influence of scientific development on the moral life,and tried to reform the traditional ethics by reflective,experimental and democratic methods.Its aim is to make ethics into a flexible,dynamic science,and which is no longer a rigid,invariable scholarship.
