东方佳美兰音乐的许多特点对《塔》的音乐风格产生了影响。可以说,东方的佳美兰音乐为德彪西带来了创作灵感,提供了创作素材,开启了一扇独特的音乐之门,产生了东方音乐风格的印象派音乐,从而为印象派音乐的繁荣与发展做出了重要的贡献。
Many Gamelan characteristics are represented in 'Pagoda'.It is safe to say that the Oriental Gamelan music inspired Debussy,provided him with materials for composition,and opened to him a new door of music.Oriental style impressionism music was thus born.Gamelan music contributed to the development of the impressionism music.
