摘要
不同语言水平的非英语专业学生歧义容忍度的差异。单因素方差分析表明,语言水平高的学生和语言水平低的学生在歧义容忍度上存在显著性差异;语言水平高的学生在听、说、读、写四种语言技能中的歧义容忍度显著高于语言水平低的学生,但在语音、词汇、语法和翻译方面没有发现显著性差异。
This paper investigates the non-English majors’ differences in tolerance of ambiguity by proficiency.ANOVA shows that there is a significant difference in tolerance of ambiguity between high proficiency students and low proficiency students.High proficiency students have a much higher tolerance of ambiguity in listening,speaking,reading and writing.However,no significant differences have been found between the two in terms of pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar and translation.
