摘要
本研究以格尔木市为研究对象,运用RS和GIS技术手段,对该区域的森林资源进行了调查,并以调查获得的数据为基础,对该市的林地资源数量、质量、林种结构、龄组结构等因子进行了统计分析。结果表明,林地资源中灌木林所占比重大,其他林地所占比重小;林种简单,以防风固沙林为主,结构单一;有林地中,龄组结构不尽合理,多数为过熟林。这种现状说明该区域生态环境极其脆弱,后备森林资源严重不足;生态环境一旦破坏,很难在短时间内恢复。
