摘要
熙河之役是宋朝与吐蕃进行的一次大规模战役。宋人对之有截然相反的两种评价:赞扬和反对。然而从这褒贬中,不仅展示了吐蕃的风俗,而且表明了宋人对吐蕃的关系、态度。宋人为熙宁之役的胜利欢呼,而在兴奋之后,他们理性地感到宋朝的国势是不能够以武力对外征服,只能用文化和道德来感召其他民族才是上策。
The battle of Xihe River is one large-scaled battle between the Song government (of the Song Dynasty) and Tibet in the history of China. The ordinary people at that time held two opposite attitudes towards this war: the attitude of approval and the one of objection. From these different opinions, we can now not only understand their ideas to Tibet, but also comprehend some customs of Tibet at that time. After the initial happiness and excitement for the victory of the war, most Song people rationally recognized that it was not a good policy to improve the overall strength of their country by powerful conquering, instead it would be much better to apply culture and moral strength.
