摘要
对单体铸造STD活塞环的材料及铸造工艺过程进行了研究,结果表明:(1)随着CE的增加,活塞环抗弯强度和弹性模量都降低.对于铸件模数小于1.0 mm的活塞环,CE应不超过4.75%;对于铸件模数大于1.0 mm的活塞环,CE应不超过4.70%.(2)必须严格控制Mo、W等促进针状贝氏体形成元素的含量,Mo、W总含量不能超过0.05%.(3)选用质量为36 g的溢流冒口.(4)w(S)量控制在0.08%~0.15%,并且采用高温增C,能有效地抑制针状贝氏体组织的形成,改善活塞环的组织与硬度均匀性,提高了热稳定性.
An investigation was conducted on the material and casting method of the STD gray iron piston rings cast as separated pieces in sand mold. The result showed: a) Both the bending strength and elastic modulus decreased with CE increasing. CE shouldn’t be higher than 4.75% for rings with modulus < 1.0mm; and 4.70% for rings with modulus > 1.0mm. b) it’s necessary to control strictly content of acicular bainite-promoting elements such as Mo, W etc., the total content of Mo and W shouldn’t be higher than 0.05% . c) By controlling S content in the range of 0.08% ~0.15% and adopting high temperature recarburization, it's possible to effectively restrain the formation of acicular bainite structure, improve the uniformity of microstructure and hardness of rings, and improve also their thermal stability.
