摘要 为解决一致性和响应性两大需求在协同虚拟环境并发行为空间上的严重冲突,将响应性细分为系统响应性和个体响应性,给出了并发控制通用设计准则,以保证一致性为前提,力求实现最优系统响应性并改善个体响应性这一并发控制设计目标.由此,提出了一种新的基于角色的协同虚拟环境并发控制投机策略及其失败恢复机制,并给出了具体实现.通过令牌机制和投机策略的有效结合,该机制可以在一致性和响应性之间寻求均衡;而角色机制可以进一步优化系统性能. Concurrency control of collaborative virtual environments involves two requirements which conflict with each other in concurrent space: responsiveness and consistency. To resolve this conflict, this work divided general responsiveness into two types: system responsiveness and individual responsiveness, proposed several general design considerations, and also presented a design policy with guaranteed consistency, optimal system responsiveness, and improved individual responsiveness. Furthermore, this work presented a new role-based speculative concurrency control scheme which maintains consistency and achieves optimal responsiveness. A recovery scheme from failure speculation and the implementation of the overall concurrency control scheme were also described. In conclusion, integrated token scheme with speculation, this mechanism can achieve an equilibrium point between consistency and responsiveness, and the introduction of role scheme can optimize the system performance.
