摘要
语言与思维方式密不可分,它们相互影响、相互反映。中国与英语国家分别具有不同的历史和文化背景,因此在思维方式和语言结构上都有各自的独特之处。从中西方思维方式的不对等性出发,通过分析中英文语言(主要是字词层面)的不同之处,可促进学生对语言的理解和把握,这对跨文化交际的成功起着极为重要的作用。
Language and thinking could not be separated for they are closely relative.Language and thinking influence each other and reflect each other.Therefore,different language structures and ways of thinking have their own specific characteristics.The paper analyzes the different ways of thinking and the profound impact on language structures especially the structure of words and the formation of phrases.And the study of this can be of great importance in cross-cultural communication.
