摘要
生态文学和生态文学批评虽是当下流行语,但其影响并没有波及戏剧领域。其实,以表现人类生活和再现人类生存困境为己任的戏剧从没有停止过对生态问题的关心。自奥尼尔始至今,美国当代剧作家们都非常注重生态学家们所关心的人与自然、人与社会、人与自身(精神)的关系的探索。
Ecological literature and eco-literature criticism are two popular terms in the contemporary literature circle,which,however,seem to have no access to drama.Drama,which takes as its responsibility to present onstage human lives and adversities,has never failed to show its concern with the ecological problems.Even since Eugene O Neill,contemporary American drama has been probing into the major concerns of the ecologists: the relationships between man and nature,man and society,and man and himself(spirit).
